DSC for NGOs, Trusts & Societies

Trustees, authorised office bearers and directors of Section 8 companies need a valid Class 3 DSC for statutory filings including 12A/80G registration, CSR-1 and FCRA returns.

Why NGOs Need DSC

Filings such as Form 10A/10AB (12A & 80G registration/renewal), CSR-1 (to be eligible for corporate CSR funding) and FCRA annual returns on the FCRA portal all require digital signing by an authorised trustee, director or office bearer.

Multiple Trustee DSCs

Many NGOs need DSCs for more than one trustee or authorised signatory — we offer simplified group processing for boards and committees.

Darpan & NITI Aayog Registration

NGOs registering or updating their NGO Darpan profile for government scheme eligibility can also use a valid DSC where the portal requires digital authentication.

Budget-Friendly for Non-Profits

We offer NGO-friendly pricing recognising that trusts and societies often operate on limited administrative budgets.

Who Needs This DSC?

  • Registered Public Charitable Trusts
  • Societies registered under the Societies Registration Act
  • Section 8 Companies (non-profit companies)

FAQs

Common Questions

What is a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)?
A Digital Signature Certificate is a government-recognised electronic equivalent of a physical signature, issued by a licensed Certifying Authority under the Information Technology Act, 2000. It is used to sign documents, file returns and authenticate identity on portals like MCA, GST, Income Tax, e-Tendering and DGFT.
How long does it take to get a new DSC?
In most cases we issue a Class 3 DSC within 30 minutes to 4 hours of completing Video KYC and document verification, subject to portal processing time. USB token delivery within Mumbai Metropolitan Region is typically same-day.
Which documents are required for a DSC application?
PAN card, Aadhaar card, a recent passport-size photograph and an active mobile number/email linked for OTP verification. Organisational DSCs additionally need incorporation documents, authorisation letter and organisational PAN.
Is Video KYC compulsory for DSC issuance?
Yes. As per Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) guidelines, Video KYC is a mandatory identity-verification step for all Class 3 individual and organisation DSCs. We assist you through the entire process remotely.
Do you provide DSC services outside Mumbai?
Yes, we serve clients Pan-India through our remote Video KYC process and courier-based USB token delivery, in addition to walk-in service at our Mira Road office.
